Edward the Elder’s first code (I Ew)
The first and second codes of King Edward the Elder (r. 899-924) form a pair in Textus Roffensis, Corpus 383 and Quadripartitus. There are few variations between the extant copies and it seems likely that they are all from the same (or similar) textual tradition. The code is addressed to Edward’s reeves and sets out what was required of them.
